It's so weird because when I pull off a brutality and it stays in 60fps throughout and even for the win animation, it looks so good. They gave us a massive game with a ton of content, the gameplay is fantastic, everything about it is so good (aside from online and the krypt bug), but all of the non-gameplay segments had to be 30fps locked.WHY!? Man, they really made sure we couldn't get a FULL 60fps experience didn't they. Specifically the cinematic settings aka 30 fps/hz (yes it's the name they gave to the "feature" belive it or not) are linked to other files and are not able to be changed directly through the *.ini file. Originalmente postado por father horse:I have bad news guys, the file does have some settings that are linked to the framerate/ hz but not all of them. Ended up having to revert back to my old 60hz monitor to be able to play this game without the massive framerate difference on a 144hz monitor. I regret dearly to have spent money on this game with these locks, I knew it was UE3 and bought it thinking it would be a beauty to tweak. And I am pretty sure that this will never happen on the side of developers not because of being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or incompetents, but to have a consistent game model going on all of the plataforms. Unless some gifted guys have the patience to get around this, it is all to the mercy of the developers to remove the locks on the game for us or at least make it friendly for people with 120/144hz monitors. If they mismatch the game will just terminate itself.

Made several tests and it seems that the game upon startup will check if the settings match with the hard-coded settings the developers set up. I have bad news guys, the file does have some settings that are linked to the framerate/ hz but not all of them.
